months of not writing in xanga to kill someone. Job's going well,
friends are good, family's doing well. School starts Sept 5th.
Yay. That's about all I've got to say. Give me a call, IM
me, or send an email if you want to talk to me. I'll be around.

So, who wants an update?? Eh, eh? I thought you did. School ends
in about two weeks, which isn't too bad. I know all of you
college people have been out for about a month already, but try to
remember what high school was like. I don't have any big plans
for summer, but I'll probably go up north now and then and I'm sure
I'll be at the beach a lot. I got a new job working for a real
estate agency doing web programming, which is pretty sweet. I got
the job through my teacher at the Tech Center, who was asked to
recommend some students by the head of the IT department at the real
estate company. I started my first day yesterday, and let me tell
you, I am liking it a lot. They're basically starting with me
from scratch and teaching me html, Java, and asp, which is pretty nice
of them. Plus I may even be able to get school credit for it, so
that rocks. My boss is pretty laid back (and he looks like Uncle
Rico!!"Back in '82..."), and the other three guys I work with are
pretty cool too. I was hired to replace one of those three guys
because he is heading off to college at the end of the summer.
I'm still going to work Saturday nights at the pizza place, so you all
can stop by and visit me still. That about does it for now, so
maybe I'll update in another month or so.
P.S. I just found out today that friend from school lost his dad
the other day. His dad was only 43 and my friend is only 17, so
it's pretty rough for him. Plus he lost his sister about two
years ago and this doesn't help anything. I plan on going to the
funeral on Saturday, but if you all could keep him in your thoughts and
prayers I'm sure he'd appreciate it.

| I know I'm a little behind in writing this but better late than never,
right? I am happy to announce that I did not come in dead last in
the easter basket hunt this year, unlike the past four years.
This year, I finished in a glorious third (on a side note, my brother
who found his basket last just had an eye appointment and has to
get glasses. Not sure if the two are related). Easter
Sunday my grandma Gigi, my great aunt and uncle, and another aunt and
uncle, all came over for dinner. We didn't do too much that day
besides eat, so there isn't a whole lot to say for it.
Wednesday I got a call from a friend saying he had an extra ticket to
see Switchfoot. It turns out another friend was sick, so she was
giving up her ticket. I felt bad for her because not only could
she not go to the show, but she was sick to boot. The concert was
at MSU and it was awesome!
I've only been to two real concerts, and they both happened to be
Switchfoot, and they both rocked. The best part of the show was
during the middle of a song, when the drummer jumped up and sat at a
mini drum set to his left which no one had noticed before. Then
Jerome Fontamillas, who was alternating between guitar, keyboard, and
back up vocals, took off his guitar and jumped in on the regular drums,
after which Jon Foreman jumped on TOP of the drums. During which,
the band continued to play and sing without interruption. It was
pretty sweet. The opening band, Lovedrug, wasn't half bad
either. I bought Lovedrugs CD after the show and was able to have
it autographed too, so that really topped off the whole night.
Other than that not much has happened. School, work, friends - life goes on.
